Role Overview
Guardrails are what make autonomous agents safe enough for regulated enterprises. As a Senior Guardrails Architect, you will design the policy engines, schema validation layers and circuit breakers that keep every NOVA agent inside hard, auditable boundaries.
Responsibilities
Design policy-as-code frameworks that validate every cross-agent request against organization-wide security and governance rules.
Build schema-enforced tool routing so every agent action terminates in a typed, validated payload.
Define circuit breakers and kill-switches for anomalous agent behavior before actions reach production systems.
Partner with enterprise customers to translate compliance requirements into enforceable runtime policies.
Requirements
6+ years building security, policy or platform infrastructure in production.
Hands-on experience with policy engines such as OPA, Cedar or equivalent.
Strong background in API design, schema validation and distributed systems.
Clear written communication for design reviews with security and compliance teams.
